Well it sure has been a long time since writing one of these! But yes I'm still alive and kicking.  Working on Hellion Issue #4 as we speak, and it's looking lovely. It's amazing to see how far I've come since drawing issue #1 so long ago.  Been working on a lot of side, freelance, projects as of late. Which is definitely helping level up my skills.  Really wish I could find more paying gigs...ran into one too many people that dicked me over, so I'm a little jaded.  But here's to keeping the ball rolling!

Just as of last week I finished all the pencil work for Hellion Issue #1. It was a long process finishing it, but very eye opening! Now I see how much time and effort goes into just one issue of pencils. Now to start drawing Issue #2, which ramps up not only the action, but hopefully my turn around time on the pages. The story is amazing, and I can't wait to get to the last issue, but that's still a long ways away. Thanks for all the support, and I hope to have some pages up soon for everyone to see. Phil

HOV! Just kidding. But I figured it was a good time to hit that little journal button I've been avoiding for the last few years. Not totally sure why I have been, but better late then never. Probably part of the wait was the assumption that no one will really read this ever. Which may be true. Either way....my name is Phil, or Phatal, if you want to use my stage name.
